Originally the Novitiate Winery owned by the Jesuits, this historic property is now home to Testarossa, an award-winning producer of single-vineyard Chardonnay & Pinot Noir. Try the current release tasting inside the main Tasting Room, with reserved counter space for your group. (Groups of 10 to 20 only, for the pricing listed. Or, for larger groups, a private room is required by the winery, at additional cost)
2nd Stop: Savannah-Chanelle
Enjoy a great tasting at historic Savannah-Chanelle, followed by time for your picnic on the hill, with vineyard and valley views.
(Option: Add a fun & informative behind-the-scenes tour!)
3rd Stop: The Mountain Winery
During the Summer, have an outdoor tasting on the upstairs Vineyard Grill patio, with wonderful views of Saratoga and the south bay. In the Winter, your tasting is inside the grand old historic winery building, in their downstairs cozy wine bar. You’ll be hosted by Jesse Montenegro, the “Mayor” of the Mountain Winery & resident historian.
(Option: Add beautiful cheese platters to your visit here!)
