Springtime Happenings

in our local wine regions

by | Apr 19, 2018

Spring has sprung, and everyone is looking forward to getting out and enjoying the sunshine. Many local wineries are staying open later on Fridays, and lots of them have upcoming musical performances and special events scheduled. Here are a few:

Staying open later on Fridays:

House Family, Saratoga – now open until 8 pm on Fridays
Savannah-Chanelle Vineyards, Saratoga (until 7 pm, with music)
Bargetto Winery, Soquel, until 7 pm
Dante Robere, Livermore (with food/music)

Fun events:

Wente Vineyards in Livermore is offering a garden tour and garden workshop on a couple of upcoming Friday mornings, starting Friday, April 27th. And by the way, Wente has LOTS of impressive events – from the White Party in the Vineyards on Sunday, May 27th (a celebration of Chardonnay and please wear white), to their Livermore Shakespeare Festival which kicks off Friday June 29th – you’ll want to check out their events calendar.

Saratoga Spring Wine Stroll, Saturday, May 12th

Taste of the Mountains – a wine stroll festival featuring wines of the Santa Cruz Mtns, held in downtown Menlo Park on June 2nd.

Celebrate Mother’s Day in Napa with flying (actual) falcons landing on your arm! (wine available to calm the nerves. Views available for those who chicken out)
