After a long week, there’s no better way to get out of work mode than by checking out one of the fantastic events happening at our local wineries! So here’s what’s happening this coming weekend, August 18-20th:
Friday, August 18
Patrick from One Ocean will be supplying fresh oysters for only $1.50 each, that you can enjoy while listening to the melodic harmonies of 3-part acoustic band, 7th Wave. They will cover your favorite songs from classic bands like The Beatles, Sheryl Crow, The Beach Boys, and The Rolling Stones.
Saturday, August 19
David Johnson is a Classic R&B/Jazz singer, and will put all your senses at ease with the classics of R&B and Motown. Enjoy a wine tasting while you slip into smooth sounds.
This is a unique and exclusive event, so you’ll want to buy tickets asap because it is limited to only 50 guests. Breaking from the traditional food and wine style pairing, this event pairs Solis wine and port with 2 special cigars for you to enjoy while you relax under the incredible night sky. Tickets are $39.
If you have the chance to free up most of your weekend, you should definitely try to make it to the Clos LaChance Winery for their ClosChella Music Weekend. In addition to multiple bands playing back to back, this event features delicious food and amazing wines. Tickets are only $15 and are sold individually for each day, so even if you can only come for part of the event, it’s still absolutely worth it! (this event repeats the next day, Sunday Aug 20th)
Sunday, August 20
If you’re looking for a wine event that’s a little off the beaten path, come check out a custom fashion trunk show designed by LulaRoe representative, Jenny Guy. Browse through awesome and comfortable leggings and gorgeous fashion accessories while sipping on fine Burrell School wines.
Round out the end of your weekend by kicking back to enjoy the Bluegrass and Americana music that will have your feet tapping all the way through to the last drop of Satori Cellars wine. Just Picked String Band primarily plays traditional Bluegrass standards, but they keep it fresh by throwing a little NewGrass with the old grass, some Beatles, and CCR. Fun in the sun!

Space for this popular dinner fills up fast, and it’s open to both Club Members and non-club members.
